Myself, Mark Parks & Bobs rare 6 met up at Johnny Ray's in KC for a car show over the weekend. We do this pretty frequently. But this time, I actually took the camera out and shot some pics. So I figured I would post 'em up here on the board.

Ahhh....yes...Johnny Rays....haven't been there for a few months now, and never have I ever seen any TR's when I do go. Lots of other cool cars though. I did get to meet Bob last year at the Blue Springs show though.

JR has their car shows what....the 3rd week of every month? I might have to make time to make a guest appearance next month. Hopefully work doesn't keep me away though. :frown:

Yea, I JR's is the 3rd Saturday every month. You outta come out. Bob, Mark & I discussed a Turbo Regal gathering and trying to get all the guys in the area together. Would be pretty cool to have a ton of them overtake a show I think.

It's in Lee's Summit. About 50+- miles from you. You should come down, too!

If you're in the area on a Saturday night, come hang out!



Shows in the area (that I know of) are as follows:

1st Saturday: Downtown Blue Springs, MO as well as the gathering at Bass Pro Shop in Independence, MO. Normally this one is held on the 2nd Saturday, but for Sugust it will be the 1st for some reason.

3rd Saturday - Johnny Ray's - Lees Summit, MO

4th Saturday - Downtown Belton, MO (This one is supposed to be HUGE. I here there are hundreds of cars at this gathering every month.)

Last Saturday - Old Liberty Square - Liberty, MO (If there are 5 Saturdays in a month, it's a pretty big turnout. Otherwise, Belton gets most of the traffic if there are only 4 Saturdays).

When you're traveling along US 50 and you see 291, there's a side road that runs parallel to the north side of US 50.....it's on that road. I don't know the name of the road.

The show in Belton is nice. Went there once. So is the Blue Springs one.

For anyone closer to central MO, Eddie's drive in located in Sedalia has a nice cruise in every 3rd Saturday.

There's also a church in Sedalia that has a nice cruise in, the next one will be on Aug 1.

Just to let the KC area guys know, we are going to meet up for a cruise night at Winsteads on Metcalf Saturday, September 11th. It starts at 6pm and is the is hosted by the Fbody/Mustang club. Bring all Buicks

KC guys, Overland Park Long Branch Cruise, 91st and Metcalf EVERY Friday night from 5 till 10. Usually pretty busy. I try to go every week. Lots fun.

Sucks I am not in KC this year. From what I can tell, there isn't much TR activity in North Dakota.

Hey Bob, my AT&T cell is screwed up here in ND. I have zero signal most of the time, so I am awaiting a new company Verizon phone. I'll call ya when it gets here. So if you see a weird 281 number calling you, that's prolly me.
