Most (not all) vette owners are the biggest nerds you will ever meet. Some of them would organize " oil change parties". Enough said

That's true. They also have "Mod" parties. They are to help those who are tool challenged to install shifters, intakes, etc... Although nerdy, in the end they are still car guys and its funny how many vette guys are into Grand Nationals. My wife's uncle has a few 427 mid year tri power vettes, and an 86 GN. Myself, see signature...It's so tempting to go buy a new Z06 while GM is discounting them...

the only vette that I know of around me (dosen't mean this is the only one, just the only one that I know of in york) is a z06 putting down 760whp, other than that I saw Andy Jensen throw down the gauntlet last year at Cecil, 6.20@228mph in a pro mod door slammer vette, he's from up state Pa. Dude really knows turbo cars!!!!! Check out the link below for the video

Dont get me wrong we should give credit when it's due. The new vette's are amazing cars but it makes me a little bitter when they pick on a heavy sedan with the aerodynamics of a shoebox and 80's technology. Not that it probably matters to the guys that can afford a new vette but you could build a few 9 sec turbo regals for the cost of the vette. Guess that 80's grudge is still in thier blood
