I recently attempted to install a shift kit in my car and had a miserable experience. (Although I am know VERY familiar with the 200R4 valve body now
) The spring for the 1-2 accumulator was a different diameter than the factory spring, but it was the same UNINSTALLED height. Because of the difference in dia the new spring sat higher in the housing than factory. Is this OK? I have since swaped back to a stock valve body and separator plate, due to a unrelated problem, but would like to know if this kit is going to work. Thanks in advance, Jim.
