Ok, now I'm starting to get a little aggravated. I've had my GN for all of 2 months yesterday and it's spent more time broken than running.
Put trans back in it last Wednesday and all was good. I'd had it out because I was having problems with 2-3 flare, then 2nd just went away altogether.
Got it back-he thought that the servo seals had been leaking pressure and caused the band not to apply. I brought him a new band(2-3/8 from Bruce) and h/d anchor from Bruce. He also replaced the o/d and main clutches while it was apart.
Today, climb on it some in 1st and it won't shift...I think oh great.
My question is, wtf can cause a high/soft 1-2 shift?
Sometimes it'll shift firm, but still high, others it just slides in. Either way, at light throttle it shifts into 2nd around 25 mph, which is too high imho. Before it was around 15...
Any ideas, other than I need to pull it back out;)
Thanks,
Jon

What about your transmission builder? I'd think he'd be the one to test drive your car and troubleshoot the unit for you. It certainly has some issues.

The builder is 140 miles away...
He's supposed to really know his stuff, all the other TR guys around here use him.
It worked good until today, hell, I had the car on slicks this past Saturday and it'd leave a solid 10 feet of rubber on the pavement when it shifted to second with them on there.
