Took the GN out for a g-tech run for the first time with the new turbo, exhaust, and alky the other day. Wow, what difference, but I could not get the tires to hook at all. Actual 1/4 mile times were in the low 13's but speeds of 116mph. Just wondering what kind of time (with traction) is possible with 116mph trap speeds?

I wouldn't rely on the G-tech for anything except reference

take it to the track to find out how it runs

those g-tech things are fun but not accurate enough to state that your car runs the time that it claims.

I'M NOT SAYING IT'S ACCURATE. JUST WONDERING ON AN ESTIMATED TIME. UNFORTUNATELY I DONT LIVE CLOSE ENOUGH TO A TRACK TO TEST THINGS AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE.

Normally those G-tech will be close enough on the ET but very generous on the MPH side....it's a better tool to test your new mods and see if you are faster than to check your actual 1/4 times.

116 is mid to high 11's depending on your launch.

Even if it's perfectly calibrated, 116 on a G-tech isn't 116 at the track, because the track is the average mph of the last 66 feet, where the G-tech is the mph AT 1320 feet.

subtract 3 MPH from 116 and that is the MPH you should be close to at the track.
