1 Quick ?.......

hey guys whats up as you can see in the sig i came up on the TR so i have my 1st ? my car is tottally stock except for mods listed and i don't know for some reason my buddy turbojorge and a couple other TR i have seen all have one color on there valve covers and on there upper intake plenum... my car has all 3 of these pcs. , the lines on them are silver and the valve cover is black. Is this onlt a special option on the t-types or is this some type off aftermarket set or something, or did someone paint them black cause they look to good and perfect to be painted with a can or air brush they look 100% stock....

i will post pics of engine bay but let me get some feedback here on this topic guys thanks......

Someone painted the covers or replaced them. As far as I know, all turbo motors came with unpainted aluminum valve covers. There was no special option - or I would have ordered it Sounds like they look good.

allrighty they just look to good to be done by hand the paint does not even fall off with degreaser very funny, but anyways....
looks like me and you have the same color car do you have any pics i will be posting some shortly after i get them uploaded from my digi camera.....
