So I was talking to a guy today that is "selling a Ttype". I started asking him about it as to what was done. He tells me that its .30 over, cam, and stock turbo. Im like ok. Then he says, "best et is 10.34@129. I was like WOW, you should keep it. Thats gotta be a record for stock turbo. What injectors, chip, boost/timing are you running? At this point he tells me, stock injectors and 20 PSI!! Im laughing my arse off at this point. What a tool bag. Thought i'd share.

Well, at 129 MPH, it might be possible if the car weighs 2000 lbs. :D

Now there are two other people on his street running low tens with stock turbo and injectors. Its been "tweaked" as he so informatively put it. Posers are so comedic. Its great.

Which makes me wonder. Anyone have stories about someone that has blatantly lied to you about their car/times? Please share.

Ahhh my favorite all time.. does it do wheelies over coke cans in the parking lot.

And the 69 Road Runner that would do 170.. on a country road..

Yup its FAST..

Allow me to defend Broke1.

He used to BATE...and he was bad at it, hence the "D's".

After much practice he has gotten much better and is considered a MASTER.

Yes, the jumping bottles in the parking lot is a classic!!! If what he says is true that should put us all in the mid 8s right?

There's an old guy one block over from me that claims 11.1 from a TA49, stock injectors, and stock FP regulator on his GN. But of course he doesn't race it anymore. That was my first and last visit to his garage. He's just a lonely man, a widower. Nice house though.

There's a guy in this area kind of like that. He told a friend of mine his 12 second GN was the fastest street car at the track, and NOBODY could touch him. A few weeks later my dad was having his converter flushed where the guy works, and he came right over and started telling dad about his car. (told dad he knew he was a "racer", because they were the only ones that ever had converters flushed). After dad told him I had a turbo Buick, he asked what that ran. When he was informed it had been deep 11's, he proceeded to run 10's. He's also told a few people in the close area it runs 10's, but nobody has ever seen him at the track, and he won't come when invited.

a friend of mine that I grew up with had a 69 sport satalite that would run 150mph, I rode with the stupid bastard once & only once. it had old bias ply tires on it m-50-15 in the front & n-50 15 in the rear, the gearing in it was so high o-100 in 3 states & one had better be Texas. we always said he needed to go into winston cup

My dad had a 69 Chrysler 300 w/ a 440 magnum that would spin the tires at 100 MPH when it shifted from 1st to 2nd. It would definitely break 150. That is the very first car I can remember wrenching on. I had a hand full of bolts off of it before my dad knew what was going on. He laughed and directed my energy else where.

There is this older guy that I run into at my "local" track quite often. Every time he sees me there, he tells me about this T-type he has that runs 10.80's. This has been going on 4-5 years now. All I can say is it is also a VERY low mileage car, I have yet to see it, nor has any of my other turbo buddies seen it. Wish I had one of those!!!!!

Ok, I have to ask. What trans/rear gear ratio would allow him to run up to 100MPH in 1st gear???
