This 109 short block is built with all new parts and 2 center steel caps. :)

The machine work is to very high standards, as we have built a few hundred 109 blocks like this.

Parts include Eagle forged crank, Eagle rods, JE pistons, Total Seal rings and FM race bearings. Also, hard block was installed to stiffen and provide retention around the bottom of each cylinder.

The rotating assembly was precision balanced on the latest electronic machine.

The price is $5500.

Shipping is extra. A similar block is currently being shipped to the East coast, and the cost was ~$375. It will be less to closer locations.

Here is a pic of the block:

forged rotating assembly

How much power do you think it will hold up to?

I would think enough to run low 10's and hi 9's...hth

I have a friend running 10.50's on stock bottom end so this set-up
should be good somewhere between 9.70's to 10.50's..
