Youtube vid pretty awesome! It is a Steel panther concert in KS back in Dec. the kid is at the show with his dad and has a sign challenging the lead guitar to duel.

The kid was awesome! What a bunch of a$$holes though. Too bad they never outgrew the potty-mouth, a shame the kid and the audience had to endure that. No wonder R&R has as bad a rap as, well, rap...

oh noes! they said some dirty werdz on teh video!

Wonder what the kid grew up to do? Had some great talent

it's been almost 3 weeks since it took place so i'm sure he's tasted the rock and roll lifestyle and is just getting out of rehab about now... look for a "Behind the Music" special by the end of the month...

Thats Bad Ass

Agreed, pretty sweet. My Dad is a musician and I was running lights for him at bars on the weekends at 11 years old. I turned out to be a productive member of society. I'm a firm believer in "don't blame the music, blame the parents." We were allowed to listen to anything we wanted even if my parents thoughts it was noise, but they made it clear that music and movies were entertainment and not real life. You know how awesome this kid was at school on Monday getting boobs flashed at him while rocking a solo on stage at a concert? Memory for life that I doubt will scar him if he truly has a good dad.

you lie... everyone knows that hearing swear words and seeing nekkid boobies leads to a life of drugs and crime. add rock n roll music to it, and you are guaranteed a life of satan worship- or even atheism...

Ummm OK, whatever. I love R&R from the Beatles to NIN to Korn, but the constant F-bombs completely ruin it. So, like a good citizen, I simply choose not to listen to this crappy clip even though the kid is good. He deserves a better environment though, free from idiots who fail to manage their mouths. Not to mention the high probability of drugs and alcohol. Certainly not where I'd put my 11 year old. Of course, he's now 31 and a senior designer for Furmanite making a 6 figure income so he came out pretty good...

Again, I grew up around all the bad things you mentioned when I was with my Dad, but he never did those things, and educated me on why not to do them. Being around those things and educated probably kept me more away than the fear tactics usually employed by parents. BTW, I've been making 6 figures in Iowa, not that easy, since I was 28 if you need to measure success as a person in that fashion.

Dude I hope this post was tongue and cheek? If not Sir you have some serious problems. I grew up on heavy metal from the '70's and '80's and still listen to it today. I go to concerts with my son or he goes with me. I consider myself a good citizen and I believe in God and so does my son. We are not perfect by no means but he that is please cast the first stone.

Yeah there was some bad words spoken but that means nothing, if he has a good dad it won't be a problem. and going to this concert and taking his son does not make him a bad Dad.

Also there is a censored version if you prefer just do the search on Utube.

My entire point was the language was completely unnecessary, as in: it served no purpose other than to incite harsh feelings. End of story from this side!

Language aside, man that kid has put in the practice time to learn to play some serious music. I must confess I prefer the older "classic" stuff compared to some or most of today's music! Just my $0.02

wow... everyone is wound up tight around here lately... must be that fookin' polar vortex...

I call Eruption a classic. I guess you could go back another 10-15 years for sure but 1980 that is classic for me. I graduated in 1980. ;)
