I know this is a real newbee question, but I was wondering if the glove box light a 12V signal?

Stick your tongue on it & see how much your eyes light up. Usually a good test! ;)

I dont see what else it could be but 12 volts? I would say Yes it is,
but lets hear from the electrical guru's here. (PS: I got $5 on Yes)

Why not just use one of the sources on the fuse block? There are both battery and ignition 12V sources you can tap into there.

If you don't have a remote trunk release than there is an ignition 12V source located above the glove box lamp. Here's a pic of it. It's the brown wire taped to the main harness.

The glove box light orange wire is Hot at All Times, fed off the 20A Cig/Clk fuse.

So is the orange wire on the lighter socket.

That's what I did. It was for the Fuel Transducer. It's working now.

Thanks,
