.120 difference

I/ve heard there is .120 difference between on center and off center. From my rough measurement there appears to be .120 per side = .250 total. Could a stock intake be run on an on center, or is this too far out into left field?

.125 is the total distance.....I have used a factory intake on three on center engines but it takes some creative porting and mill work.
