I would have to call BS on that one. Obviously someone can't drive a Buick!

There are a lot of unrealistic numbers in there. One inparticular that I caught was a mid 15 second number for the Mazda RX 8. The magazines clocked these things in the mid 14's.

Hope you guys realize that those numbers have been generated off of Forza the racing game for Xbox, not real cars.

Well I feel like a dip-poop. Did not know that was a game. I guess it makes a little more sense now then.

even for it being the game, there are a lot of wrong numbers.

just today i did the miata race and won the mazdaspeed miata, did the drag race of the 2 miatas, the mazdaspeed was .5 seconds faster. that chart shows them as the same.

fun game but not exactly reality

Amusing how so much credence can be placed on numbers put up by a game, of all things.

this guy is an idiot
my little brother has that game....i ran 13.2 with the GNX stock
with all upgrades i'm running 10.2's but ima play with some gearing and try to run a 9.99

its unrealistic...if i lower the rear tire pressure the car is slower, but if i set it at 32psi and launch bouncing off the rev limiter i run quicker

i ran a 12.8 in a dodge sealth rt, stock

yeah....reality is still too complex for these so-called "advanced" racing simulators to model accurately, though i admit they have come a long way since the pac-man era.

the drag racing portion of that game is far from being completely realistic, but as far as the road racing part goes, its not too far off. thats what its made to replicate and it does a pretty good job at that.

They actually do only run mid 15's. You have to abuse the hell out of one to break 14's.

The Car the magazine's intially tested wasn't emission's legal. The production cars are slugs. Mazda even admitted it.
