14 bolt head torque specs...

Plan to bolt up my 14 bolt GN1R's tomorrow and wanted to see what everyone was torqueing these heads too using all 14 studs and arp moly...Thx

The Champion spec sheet says torque long bolts to 75ft-lbs, short bolts to 65ft-lbs. Do this in sequence starting at 45ft-lbs and then 55ft-lbs and final value.

Much appreciated Nick, now I just gotta figure out which studs out of the four different lengths I have are the "long" and which are "short".

The ones in-between I would do at 70ft-lbs.

Scott you know mine are eight bolt heads but Tom @ Champion told me to torque mine to the specs the stud manufactor (ARP) said to .So thats what I did (65ftbl)and when I pulled the head off you could see vaines in the gasket like pressure had been leaking off.Going back with the cometic gaskets and torqueing them to 85 ftbl.
