Hi all!

One of my friends here in Sweden has diceded to change from Pro Mod to another drag racing class, he has the eyes on Buick V6 Turbo......

I have emailed Jack Cotton for a price on a complete engine but haven't got any answer yet for a price.

Now we wonder if there are any more V6 builders out there that can build such an engine?

Please have a look at my friends Pro Mod.... couple of years old but.........http://www.ihra.com/news/2000july/24bjork.html

Thanks for any tip or reply!

Duttweiler.....PTE an I am sure there are others....just come with a BIG check book ;)

Hi there Dan!

Do you have any e-mail or website to Duttweiler and PTE?
By the way.... who is Duttweiler and PTE?

Hehehehe..... not my money!:D

Ken Duttweiler is hard to talk too since hes very busy building high dollar, high hp turbo engines...most time s you end up talking to his wife, but he definately is the "THE TURBO MAN"!! ....Duttweiler Performance 1.805.659.3648....like they said earlier be ready to pay big $$$$!!!!!

As far as Precision Turbo and Engine(PTE), speak to Harry Hruska or Dan Strezo(engine builder)...1.219.996.7832 or www.precisionte.com (not much info on hard core racing stuff on their website, so its better to call them)

Good luck
Jeff

Thanks for the phone numbers and the website adress!

It's easier to contact them by e-mail, any one have Ken Duttweilers e-mail?

So, this is why the IC is called Duttweiler neck then?

Thanks guys!

Jack will provide un-equaled personal assistance & sound advice on the project. Jack is known nation-wide for his honesty and helpfulness.

Your first choice is certainly an excellent one!

Three Cheers! :) :) :)

ken duttweiler has no email or website, that i am aware of, i tried an email before but he has never respond,..he's just really busy making horespower, and has no time for internet stuff, his stuff sells(if you got the money!!!!), thats the bottom line...so he wastes no time on the internet....like i said, its a pain to just try to talk to him personnally for tech stuff, you end up talking to the wife...remember he builds $40,000+++ engines, and he doesnt have time for "window shoppers"!!...but dont get me wrong, i know a friend who has spoken to him, and hes a good guy to talk to, but just really busy with buisness!!!

hope this helps
Jeff

Thanks Jeff and Two Lane!

Waiting and hoping for an answer from Jack soon.......

Duttweiler or PTE would be an excellant choice.
They are both Race and Machine Shops.

Duttweiler has been involved with the design
and testing of the TA Aluminum Block.
You will be talking to Margie Duttweiler first,
but when you get to talk to Kenny it will be worth
your time and money. He has done a couple motors
for friends of mine

PTE is a good choice also. I have worked with Harry
for a while.

I have also heard good things about Bill Anderson.

Can your friend run a big or small block chevy?
If so Duttweiler has a really good program for these
motors. I little bird told me about a TT BBC that made
more than 2400hp coming off of Kenny's Dyno in the
last week or two. His Dyno is not a couple hundred
HP happy like some others.

PTE also has built SBC and BBC with high hp!!!

Hi John Wilde!

Thanks for your input here!
I have e-mailed PTE and it looks like i'm gonna call Ken up also.

Since we are talking about the aluminium block now.... i haven't heard anything about it since last year, is it ready for sale yet?

Greetings from snowy Sweden!

Swede,

It is a pleasure to talk to you.
From what I have heard Duttweiler is building a
Aluminum TA block for a customer. I do not have
confirmation from him on that so please don't qoute me!

When you call Duttweiler I have a little trick for you.
Call before 9:00AM Pacific Time. Kenny is there before
the other employees. You will have the greatest chance
of talking to him in person.

Life out here in California is hard. It was reallly cold today,
I think in the high 50s ;)

He can run any engine he want's.... just a little welding but he started to think about onother class than Pro Mod, have a look at the car if you haven't done it yet, link is in my first post here.

We also has a TT V8 guy here in Sweden that can do some nasty tricks with the V8's. Have a look at the TT Trans Am: http://www.nitroz.se/persaker/racing.html
