Not much difference, too bad they need adapters, can't really fry the tires. Just buy mine no adapters needed excellent gnX backpacking. LOL

Just many more tire options with the 17's as opposed to the 16's!!!! I agree not thrilled with adapters. Bruce at Hawk wheels told me maybe next year they will make the 17's in a TB backset.
