I remember reading somewhere (unknown for now) what this one eruption did for "global warming/climate change" had 100x the impact of what all of mankind has done since our inception...

That's why I don't believe man's activities has caused any climate change in modern times. One volcano can mess it up more than we can. Can you imagine how nice our cars would run it that happened again?

Holy cow, a lot of climate change deniers here. I thought it was only politicians and fox new.

Remember the summer after Mount saint Helens blasted? That summer was great here in Texas. This is why the "climate" change crap is just that. In the last 150 years we've only risen .8 degrees.
Just a small clarification to your post. That's an increase of .8 degrees in Celsius, which equals to about 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit ;-)

While that's true, we don't have enough historical data to prove it's not a natural event.;) There have been several events in previous weather that were natural and they lasted for quite some time and this may just be that, so the panic that they've created is to help someone's pockets (Al Gore was broke before he got on the band wagon after all:rolleyes:) and will most likely prove to be BS in the end.

Think the greenies even care if their science is wrong? This planet has been here 4,500,000,000 years, climate records have been kept for a little over 120 years. Do the math - the sample they are trying to quantify is about 1/42,000,000 (one forty two-millionth) of the total. If someone gave you 1/42,000,000 slice of cherry pie, could you tell what it was? How could anybody call this "science" ? ? ?
