SignUp Now!Ohh that one's not around anymore. Shortened the right side of the frame on a curb and sent it away. Sad day... :frown:Nice car Heg87t...don't see too many of those anymore...last I saw one up close was when women still had Farrah Fawcett hair do's, people wore their socks pulled up to their knees and REO Speedwagon's "Keep On Loving You" was a top 40 hit on the radio.
Now if you found one of the rare Roadhawks then I'd be looking hard at it myself. The Mirage was ok but the wing on the Roadhawk looked much better.
Here you go. Needs work and the back wing is broken.
1979 BUICK ROADHAWK : eBay Motors (item 250580889332 end time Feb-21-10 19:17:26 PST)
Thanks for the pics of the torque arm. The F-body part is much shorter than I was expecting. I had similar plans with a fabbed crossmember and custom mount. I however have retained the stock rear housing and just beefed it up. I figure a car that weighs less than 2300 pounds doesn't need too much more strength than a nicely built 7.5. I may just build the entire setup so it is fully functional with my chassis.

Don't want to drown you guys with H body stuff...
No problems here....I'd rather be looking at old Monzas as opposed to all the FWD crap that came afterwards....even if they were a bit flimsy, at least the H bodies were RWD.
There are a few rust free Skyhawks in Ohio
