Whats up i have a gp with a 3.8 and im very interested in the carb turbo setup...I was wanting to know which years of the buick regal turbo will work with my motor..... are there any difference in a 78 carb turbo setup and a 81 carb turbo

I dont think there is any diference,but the 83 has a electronic carb thats it i would assume

cool...will i have to get another ecm or pcm,distrubtor, or etc..?

You will need to have a different puter and if your car doesn't have a knock sensor you may need the engine wiring harness for the knock sensor set up. You'll also need to drill and tap the back of the block for the knock sensor and find the esc modual.

damn...I think it would be easier just to swap in a v8..since i need all that ****...I didn't think an old 81 would have a computer

If you want to avoid the computer, then a 1979 motor is what you want. (78 has low port heads.)
