Hello,
I recently found an add for an 84 T Type that came from manufacturer with the GN extra options.
My question is are these specific T Type with the GM options really of any value? Anywya to find out for that year how many were made?
Im thinking about buying it but at the same time not sure what its worth.
Below is detailed posting-

THIS VEHICLE RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT. TRANSMISSION HAS JUST BEEN COMPLETELY REBUILT.
HAS AC BUT NEEDS TO BE CHARGED AND CHECKED AND IS INOPERATIVE
VEHICLE HAS THE ORIGINAL TIRES AND SHOULD BE REPLACED.
INTERIOR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NORMAL WEAR FOR THIS YEAR.
FRONT BRAKES HAVE JUST BEEN REPLACED LESS THAN 500 MILES AGO.
REAR BRAKES ARE ABOUT 50%
ENGINE RUNS VERY WELL WITH LOW MILEAGE. COULD USE VALVE COVER GASKETS
THIS WOULD BE A RARE ADDITION TO SOMEONES COLLECTION AND A DEPENDABLE CAR AS WELL

No such thing as "GN" options. What you have there is a WH1 Designer package. The only "GN" option per say would be the rear spoiler. It's part of the WH1 option and you could not, for any amount of money order it as a factory installed option on any other model of Regal or Regal T-Type. Everything else on the list was available on any Regal. Even the Lear-Siegler seats.

And I hate to say it but there isn't much of a market for Hot Air Regals either. Buick kicked out 3,402 Regal T-Types in 1984. 34% of them were WH1 Designer Series.

ok so is this correct that this listing is a T type with the GN package?
I mean everything on car is original and its identical to a GN just minus the tags. So my question is whats the difference between this and an actual GN?

The guys asking $5600 and i just figured for the price and milage etc doesnt seem too bad..opposed to spending over 10k for a GN.

any thoughts?

You need to do some more research.

The hotair cars, while nice are not as sought or as valuable as the intercooled 86-87 cars.

The hot air can be upgraded but why when you can just buy an intercooled one in the first place.
