X2 on the try.

No sense in fixin stuff that ain't broke.
What does the oil look like? Milk shake? Do some test and bust her off if it checks out. Good Luck!

dump the fuel tank, pull the fuel rail and get the injectors flushed, pull the plug wires and make sure the ignition towers are not corroded.

prime up the oil system, or at least prefill the filter. Run good oil and zddplus unless you know for sure it has a roller cam.

you may have gotten the deal of the century, but don't count your chickens yet.

That's a great deal all the way around. I'm just curious why the interior is grey and blue.

Hopefully get to it this week, anyone have a good turbo for sale? Interior looks gray in the photo but it is all the original dark blue bucket seat interior.

Car is running. Sounds very good and healthy. Now question is, guy said he thought it had a blown head gasket when he parked it..he thought. He thought that because it was blowing a little smoke after he did a burnout. But after i checked the turbo there was a good amount of play in it. Now that its running whats the best way to check for headgasket? Wont there be black sludge in the coolant?

Simply look at the oil and see if its white and milky which would be a HG. To be positive do a compression test.
