Hi I am posting this for my co-worker, Allen Presser. He is selling his 1987 Camaro Z28, Beautiful Dark Blue with Gold Ground Effects and Custom Tan Cloth Interior, original 5sp Auto, original 305 TPI engine, original locking T-Tops, original ERS cassette radio, power steering/brakes, power doors/windows, 80,300 original miles, asking $3,750.
He is the second owner. He has owned the car for over 14 years bought in April 1995, always garaged and cared for. It has a clean/clear title in his name and a clean/clear Auto Check (CarFax), showing no accidents and passing emissions.
The car runs/drives/handles/brakes excellent. The engine starts up easily and idles at 600rpms. No smoke or leaks from engine or exhaust. No trouble codes. The transmission shifts smoothly and the car does not make any rattles or squeaks. At highway speeds there is no wind noise from the windows/T-tops/windshield and the car goes straight and doesn’t shake. All the rubber molding is in excellent condition. Suspension and shocks are tight. Tires are brand new. And I just changed the engine/transmission/radiator fluid and replaced the spark plugs/wires/distributor/rotors.
The interior is all original/clean and in very good condition. There are no cracks in the dash. The seats, windows, locks, lights(interior/exterior), heat, A/C(blows cool/cold air), gauges(gas/tach/water/oil/speedometer), horn and blinkers all work. The T-Tops in very good condition and are the original locking ones, that lock with the same key as the doors, don’t leak and the I have the T-Top bags. The center consol is missing and there are some little holes in the seats here/there and the drives seat has a little rip on the side where you get in/out. Headliner is in good condition. Otherwise there are no stains and the carpet is clean, no rips and does not smell.
The paint is in good condition. Its glossy and shines nice. There are a few chips, the front and rear bumpers are faded. There is a crack in the front ground effect and the front bumpers grill is also cracked. Very small rust spot on the roof near the T-Top. The rims are nice/clean, no scrapes and tires are brand new. Underneath is nice and clean.
Over all it’s a very good/nice solid 22 year old car that I am sure someone will enjoy and just might go all in value someday. The car is located in Farmingville. Please Allen at 516-851-6276 or email AFM5741@juno.com. Priced to sell at $3,750.
