What is the story with the fuel line. It looks like a black iron T fitting between the alternator and ps reservoir in the last photo. Any info would help.

I'm starting to get an itch and can't figure out which car will scratch it.

its actually a fuel line leading to a fuel pressure gauge than you can set by the winshield.
