If any of you old geezers raced your Buick at the 1988 Lone Star Musclecar Nationals, I found my old VHS. It's kinda neat because the Buicks were new on the scene and shocked the old school musclecar world. I ordered a little kit to digitize it, but here are a few the names of the racers in the video:
Bob Dungee GN
Jim Welch GN
John Wilkins GN
Rich Lopez T-Type
Jeff Garrison T-Type
Lawrence Conley GN & GSX

Will share video when I get it digitized

That's friggin' cool.

Would you be willing to post the video?

I bought an '86 in Jan of '87 in Palm Springs, CA. Peter Epstein Jaguar/Buick/GMC. Looked and looked to find a new '86. (It got stolen in '96) Never raced it in TX, only AZ, but I'd sure like to see some memories of when these cars were in their infancy... They were WAY ahead of their time. Even now, they can still represent.

Now, when I pull up at intersections in the white '87 T Lou Czarnota sold me, there's always that doubt in the mind of the guy next to me... Is it, or isn't it one of those... I've heard tell...

SURPRISE!!!!!!!

"OH, It IS "one o' those"...

I'm like the long lost Mean Chicken.... "Every stop light is a potential race". :)

I'll be back at it soon.

LOL
