I went down to orlando to KDK performacne (great guys) and ran on a superflow dyno (same as summit/edlebrock/earnhart racing/ect...

i didnt run wideband and all that, i just ran to see where my car is everyday on the street.

4 runs, last run is as follows

330 RWHP/385 Flywheel (20% loss)@4700 rpm
392 ftLB's@4300 rpm

this was with 19-20 psi boost, no knock on a 95octane mixture (approx) with a street chip using 18* timing at WOT.

we assume there is probably another 10-20 hp in it as far as turning up the boost and a little more fuel...but i figure this is what i can do with it 93 octane everyday

overall not too shabby, it was pretty much right where i thought it would be....next time, i turn up the wick....

and in race trim @ 25 psi and 26 degrees timing i'd say close to another 100hp.

thanx guys,
and i would tend to agree.....race trim its possible to get another 100 out of it....or close....

on my second run i locked it right as he was flooring it in 3rd gear, it gained me 7HP, after that i left it unlocked...no need to abuse the conv on the dyno....

I have a JPEG of the dyno graph, and an excel sheet w/ graph if anyone wants to look at them....

Cool. That should be pretty close to mine, since your street trim and my alky times have about the same trap speed. Thanks for the info:cool:

Congratulations Dan,

I remember reading a good thread on the alky forum about dyno runs and locking up the converter. If I find it, I'll send it your way. Pretty interesting.

You said you ran 4 pulls, what did you do different between pulls??

Would have really liked to have seen race trim #s and the diff.

Good job. Thanks for sharing.
