Well as stated above the car went to the dyno under Brian's help and experience. The only thing is the car had other ideas, the converter I have is completely wrong for the car and I thnk it never locked down?? not sure what happened just pushed thru till 5700rpms, no sorry 6500rpms Brian also noticed new the tach was set for 8cl...Wanted to thank Victor from Empire Muscle for taking ride, and driving home. I also want to give credit to who deserves it, Dave Husek said from day one that the converter was wrong something isn't rt. You were rt, Sorry.. In the end Brian went under the car to discover the converter isn't even a PTC 9.5 had no marking on it...Ok everyone wants #s 428hp 18# 398TQ, .. If you want to see video its on youtube under (AL 106) Thanks Brian for all the help

Once the converter is corrected we can turn it up. It blew through the converter so fast I could only stay in it for about 1 second. 5650rpm@102mph in 3rd gear with no additional loading.

that's a lot of slip,3rd gear 102mph on the racetrack with a 28 inch tire would be in excess of 20% slip.

Thanks, Goche I really am bad with the computer and wasn't sure if anyone reall wanted to look at it beside me... Brian did tell me that with the rt converter this motor will put up some impressive #s

That's at 18psi. At 30psi it would be 6500 and probably boil the trans oil

Brian you are the man , glad you found the problem

Brian, do you think the car can go to 30psi safely with the right Converter (what you think) ???, And would the car rev to 6500???... When the stroker is in does the #s increase that much. Didn't you say each cyl puts out 75-78hp??? stroker that is what I mean

Id expect 650-675whp @30psi. About 120hp per hole. There will never be a need to be at 6500. 5700-5800 is all this engine should be at to run low 10's. The stroker won't make more power because it's a stroker. It will make more power because of higher CR and more favorable valve timing events that will extend the rpm range a little.
