2-3 flare?

The trans was done 2 times and still flares on the 2-3. 3rd gear holds well once the shift is complete; 1-2 is fine, the 3-4 is good.

Perhaps a decent trans shift kit?

Been meaning to read that post on strenghtening a 2004R. So is it servo and/or leaks?

Is it possible for the new gaskets in a shift kit to perhaps seal a leak that could be causing this?

I my opinion .... NO.
Might be able to make less noticable but the real secret lies inside....
