What have others found when a job arrives with the 2/3 shift tv spring changed out on a BRF valve body?I dont want to post my complaint/concerns yet so I can here what others have experienced when this spring was used. This is not a swipe at Transgo,as they have a vey talented group at the company. However there is an issue that shows up when this spring is installed in vbody. Thanks in advance.

Chris,
I don't use that spring on most VBs.
It works good on CT's and OG's get the shift spacing even when modifying the governor.

What i noticed with the 2-3 spring installed in a BR vb at very light throttle angles at certain low road speeds you would experience 2-3, 3-2 shift busyness when hot at times. I rarely leave this spring in though. It seems like more of a problem with low stall 12" converters though. With looser higher stall converters i didnt notice the busyness. Id say that 10-20% of the vb's ive worked on or bought over the years had the trans go 2-3 spring in them. I did a trans about a 3 weeks ago and left the trans go spring in because it was getting a 9" AC converter. The cars shift timing is very good with the calibration i used in that trans. I did use a stock servo in that particular trans which is not the norm. Very clean and crisp 2-3 at all angles with dual fed direct and the 3-2 kickdown is very active.
