2-3 shift improvement needed

My rebuilt tranny works "okay" just not what I thought it would be like. The 1-2 shifts are strong but 2-3 does not throw you back like I had hoped. It shifts consistent in every gear but not like I had hoped. Pressures are good and high, see previous post of them. Is there something I can do to make 2-3 better with more kick? I hate to have to remove the tranny again.
Any and all ideas are appreciated.

Of all the trans that have been in my car, and different shift kits, none of them had a HARD 2-3 shift like the 1-2. Quick, but not hard. What shift kit are you using?

As long as it shifts quick, I wouldn't complain........ Quick is the most important.

I agree with the above, mine are dual fed, tight clearance, shift kit, and a few other tricks to the valve body, and it is quick and firm, but doesn't knock you back like the 1-2 does at WOT.

Lee, I am using an Art Carr shift kit that I put in about 4 yrs ago.
I havn't tried it WOT yet, only on the street. Afew weeks I am going to the track to see what it does. This was my first time driving it since last year after my tranny rebuild. Thanks!!
