ok when i first start the car i'll let it warm up. then when i go and the car goes into its first 2-3 shift, car feels like it slowed down for a half a second then it shifts from 2-3. this only happens when the car goes the 2-3 shift the FIRST time I take out the car and if I havent drove the car in maybe 5 hours. it happens only once every time i take out the car after having not driven it in a while. After driving for a while the 2-3 shift is normal again. Any causes?

Totally normal

And the reason is that the servo drains down after awhile. Then you go to drive and on the 2-3 shift it has to fill the cavity for 2-3 acculmulation or in other words , the way it kicks band off. Every trans we build will do this. In fact I always tell people, First shift in morning or cold , always let it shift 2-3 under NO power on the FIRST shift. After that all is perfect , right? If this is the case , it is just drainback and it takes a split second to fill the 3rd side of the piston. No big deal as mine does it this way every morning for the last 170,000 miles. :)

No worries...:D
