The 2-3 gear shift on my '87 GN had been very weak (slipping). Today it would not shift into 3rd gear, when in "D". When I manually shifted from "1st" to "D" it still would not shift into 3rd (D). As i would go into "OD",it would shift & act as if it shifted into 4th (skipping 3rd) but it couldn't have been because of very hi rpms. The gear selector was in "OD" but I assumed it was 3rd gear, not OD. What's going on with the shifting? I talked to J.Cotton on a possible rebuild & stall converter, any Suggestions on rebuilder??
