Went to the track this past Wednesday night on High School TesT N' Tune night with my dad and a fellow Turbobuick guy. Thier weren't very many cars their, basically you could go round and round as many times as you wanted to.
My first pass was on 18lbs, 25 degrees timing and ran 8.17@87.5 with a 1.93 60 foot on a single pass. Not bad for 90 degree heat. My second pass I lined up against about a 2002 or so Trans Am that sounded pretty good. I ran better with a 7.86@87 still with a crappy 1.88 60 foot too his 8.70 e.t. MY last pass was against a 2003 Saleen Cobra with I believe a Vortech blower with intercooler, nice car. I lined up against him and ran my best pass a 7.76@88 with a 1.76 60ft. on 24lbs of boost to his 8.50@87. All in all I ran ok for 90-95 degree heat.
Their was also I think a 2004 SRT-4 their on slicks with a Stage 4 Turbo setup and Stage 3 Intercooler I think he said, not sure what that is equal too? He was runnin 7.80's to 7.90's@90+mph. They don't really prep the track on Wednesdays and he was only gettin 1.90 60fts. Nice car, not riced out or anything.
