1st question: When my car is in gear, (especially at operating temp) the tranny makes a very subtle whining noise, almost like the power steering pump noise all Fords make....Is it toast?
2nd, I wa stold that to change the fluid on a 90K tranny is a bad idea, as all the new detergent in the fluid washes the rest of the clutch material remaining away....sounds like bs....and if I have the fluid changed, is it a good idea to use "type F"?
