2" to 3" inch change in my turbo/cooling system

I've recently encountered a vacuum issue on a GN I bought about a month ago. The rubber is old and cracking on the coupling so I need to get a new one. The entire turbo/intercooler system runs on 2" system, I'm thinking about changing the whole setup to a 3" system. Any thoughts or opinions?? Thanks

If the intercooler is only 2", changing the piping to 3" will net you nothing.
