I know the purists are going to chastize me.... but...

I love my GN.. but plain black is well... BORING...

I'm looking for different styles of 2 tone paint jobs... to get some ideas...

I'm considering House of Colors Tangelo and Black... (nice to know a painter)

Nick Micale did a silver/white combo. I've been thinking about doing something two-tone with my GN... I want something that looks nice/classy but different.

Could be cool, our body style doesn't let us get away with a crazy scheme though, so keep it somewhat traditional two tone and it could be sweet. Reminds me of Harley colors.

Grey and Black is pretty tame, but I like the placement.

I would like to see GN Black with orange stripes on the sides like a tiger. I think that would look soo cool.

GN Gato Negra

Our GN is silver was thinkin of two toning it , either Tangelo on top or do the top and lower section in a darker type Platnium/Charcoal over the silverbase. Actually do a modified 82 GN. Always liked the way the 82 GN looked.

It's hard not to agree that a GN/GNX should probably stay Black as gives it that Sinister Darth Vader look . The BLACK car's stylin especially the GNX with it's flared fenders, sidevents, powerbulge on hood, blackened wheels and spoiler gives the car notoriety as an aggressive hunter a reputation that intimidates all that pull up to one .The GN (Gato Negra) sits with an almost ghostly silence the turbo starts it's death whistle , the front of the car lifts in anticipation like a black panther crouching muscles tense and trembling ready to violantly release it's raw primal power, within the blink of an eye the black huntress has pounced an annihilated it's prey... if I ever go back to black I'd do that new single stage Flat black give it the Lockheed Skunkworks look of a F117a Stealth

2 tone's are nice but on a gn it has to be something that match's the interior also, the grey and black turbo looks great! , i am planning on having my gn painted as if it just broke thru the checkerd flag, i'm having a drawing made first, when i get it then i will post it here to see what you guys think.:)

Considering that this is my daily ride...:

(Its not orange, its copper)

But there is no doubt that there is a semblance of the two... though Tangelo is a brighter color.

I think I would prefer orange on the top to the upper body line... and possibly a red/silver pinstripe separating the black/orange (same colors as the power 6 logo)

I'm a little burnt out on the checkerboard thing... my Dually is Purple/Silver with Peach/Pearl white checkerboard down the side...

Here it is...

One of Heath Elmers' cars...

Similar... but w/o the GNX vents.... maybe the flares though... a new set of wheels is in the works as are the 13" brakes... and Tangelo in place of the silver...

My brothers 83 black & platinum bottom
