I need some help, I built a 2004r, it`s behind a GM LS series motor making 440hp, used a Transgo shift kit, and a Superior super servo, the 1-2 shift is mushy,in the drive mode, manual is better, but still not crisp. 2-3 sharp and crisp as is the 3-4 any Ideas? Been on the phone to Transgo, they are helpful, but still haven`t found the problem. The super servo causes that really annoying clunk on down shifting, will the cushion spring from a 700r-4 work? I think the original is long gone! Thanks Larry

TV cable setup does not work good with the LS setups. Transgo shift kit fair at best. The cushion spring will work but mahine work to servo is needed.

I use a servo that still retains the stock spring configurations and will jeep the trans from the downshift clunk.
Have to agree with Lonnie, that transgo kit is marrginal at best and you will never be happy and possibly never get the trans right using it.
There are way better kits that will give amazing results in shift quality as long as you have not hurt the trans already using a sub par calibration.

Thanks to everyone who replied! Found the problem, put the old servo back in, problem gone! Is there some other modification I need to make to run this large servo?
