Can anyone tell me how much horsepower a built 200 4r can handle. I realize weight also plays a role so for arguments sake we will say my car weighs in at 3200 lb. with all the fiberglass parts available. Any help guys would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone know what the fastest 200 4r's are running?

thanx guys.

10.4's on a 3700 lb car (that would be 9's in your lightweight....)

Roughly about 800-900hp at the flywheel... Eric Schertz of Dynotech Performance has the fastest TR w/ a 200... I believe he has run 9.57 @141mph and I think his car is about 3500-3600lbs w/ driver... I know Jack Cotton has posted that he ran 9.70's for a year or so without any problems and if my memory serves me correct he had one of Eric's Hi-pro units... Locally we have one car down here that has run 9.98 @132mph with a 200... Car is about 3550-3600lbs w/ driver and has made many low 10 second passes before the 9 second pass with the same 200 that he had built locally by a guy named Ivan at Tranny Tech... I don't think he has any billet parts in it either, but he is not using a trans-brake so that may help it live a bit longer although those 20+lb E-brake launches can't be doing it any good:D
