New to the board.

I have a 98' WS6 T/A A4.

I'm having an ARE 436 stroker and a Strange rear-end installed next week. I expect to put out about 500 RWHP/500 RWTQ N/A. I was wondering how a Mike Kurtz built 200-R4 operates/feels as compared to my stock 4L60E. I don't mean hard racing at the strip, I mean just daily driving, shifting, OD, RPM ranges at givin speeds, etc...

I know it's not computer controlled like mine, does that matter?

I was considering the FLP level IV, but I have heard the Kurtz 200-R4 is pretty damn wicked, 900 ft. lbs. or so.

Thanks.

HOTTOGO,

Thanks, that cleared it up. I'll go with the FLP so everything works as they were designed. My plan is to go with the MIGHTY 4L80E the first time the FLP blows.
Nick Agostino said my motor will take a 300 shot all day long, maybe in 6 months I'll blow it.

Thanks again.

Give up how many HP?

Horsepower can get to the wheels in two ways you can make it or save it. That 4L80E will soak up quite a bit more or your ponies than a 200 4R.
