I am trying to figure out why the trans has a very early 1-2 shift. It seems to shift sooner the more I press the pedal. If I do not press the pedal hard it seems to take longer to shift. Any help appreciated,

Speedometer broke, if I mash the pedal shifts before it even gets a chance to make power for the shift. If I lightly press the pedal it seems to be a normal 1-2 shift.

I am going to say about 8 mph when I press all the way down, and under light acceleration 12 to 13 mph

Hows the TV adjustment ? also.. is the tranny in the car what came with the car ?
2 clicks forward if i tighten it up no 2-1 kickdown.
yes, installed transgo kit. The kit recomended to leave out the red spring for tv with a br valve body, I am seriously thinking about installing that spring.

Transgo kit installed in original tranny. It shifts strong all thru but the 1-2 shift is very early now. The kit recomended leaving out the red spring for tv with br valve body, I'm thinking about installing it no.
