2004r question, but not buick related...

What is involved in putting a 2004r in a non computer controlled vehicle. I know there is something with the lock up do hicky. Can I use a d5 converter, does anything need to be added. Someone help me out here.

TCI sell a kit to control the lockup. A 200-4R really isn't computer controlled so it's no big deal with a properly set up TV cable.

I put a 700R4 in my 72 Chevelle and it was a snap. Shiftworks even makes factory apearing shift indicators/gates for the stock console shifter on GM musclecars.
