Hey all,
I thought I would have enough money to get the stock trans in the GN sent to Akron to get upgraded. I simply can not afford the 1000+ dollars to do so. I was looking around at alternatives. I seen these two items and thought since my Stock trans is shifting fine, no flaring, slipping etc. I could purchase these two items, install them myself and be done. Atleast for another year or so. My goal with the car is mid to low 12's. With my daughter, wife, work & the track being over an hour away from me one way. Im not sure I'll get there anytime soon. But I would like your thoughts on these two items if you feel it would be a good investment. Or if I even need to do anything to the trans at all for my goal. Dont know how tough these are in the GN's. Thanks in advance.

Looks like the Kirban kit is simply accumulator springs, new gaskets, and filter.

I've had good success with the cheap $37 B+M kits from the parts store and a .500 boost valve. But, again, untill you build it right, your not going to save it for long with power in front of it.
