This came out of my '87 GN. I was told it was a BRF, but I can't read the tag on the bell housing. Its faded and worn beyond being legible. Stamped number is 405XX on the housing. It was installed in my car and came out of another '87.

The tranny has the flare during the 2-3 shift under WOT and there is on lockup in OD. Snapped this pic with my cell phone, I can get more pic's. Torque converter is included w/sale.

Asking $400 obo. Not really interested in shipping it. I'm located near Madison, WI. Would entertain trades for a good, clean power drivers seat.

I'm not really enthused about pulling the pan off to verify, unless someone is REAL serious. Otherwise I'm entertaining offers, I'd like to make this thing go away as its taking up valuable floor space in the shop :biggrin:

And I mis-posted, the stamping on the bellhousing is 403xx.


Thank you for the valve body info, though. I was not aware to look at those items!
