I will be running a stage 2, alot of guys say the 200r4 don't waist my time however i hate to loose od and the abilty to drive car on highway.

I bet Bruce will have something to say bout that!! Don't underestimate a 2004r, Right bruce?;)

If you really feel like you are going to be beyond the capabilities of even the best 200-4R, consider a 4L80E. It's a TH-400 w/ OD. :)

Though this is coming from an F-body guy, I am putting a (Mike Kurtz) built 200-4r in my Z28. The OD was a must for me. Also, my MTI 422 on the spray will be making around 850 or so flywheel torque - Mike assured my that the built tranny would be able to take this and more . From what I understand, low 9-sec GNs are living a long time on these built trannies (as long as they are built right), and everyone kind of knows that GNs are not exactly lightweight cars . . .

Buick guys - correct me if I am wrong on what I am posting above, but I believe that to be correct.

You are correct!!!!!

More correct than you know :p

Great!

BTW, in the limited posting I have done on this board, it seems like there are a lot of cool members here. I may have to see if I can find one of these GNs around here some day and do the whole restore/mod thing.
