200r4 wot issues...

ok my stock trans is junk ,so i bought this stage 2 ck trans so i was told...Trans shift fine other then WOT,So I was told tv valve limit spring i believe is my problem.So I drop the pan on old trans that i know is a brf valve body,so i could look at it,and kind of compare some different things with new one.Here is what i found below


old trans known brf valve body says

1 br3 on valve body in white lettering,

2 number stamped on valve body 4203 D-7

3 gear for speedo blue and other gear orange

Stage 2 supposed valve body says

1 C something 6 in white lettering

2 number stamped on valve body 4203 D-9

3 Black speedo gear and other gear green

other difference found

sping and cup in on taller and stiffer here are some pics of what different just from quick inspect....

Accumulator housing on Left is the new design, right is older/previous design.
Governor on Left looks like it's from a SS MonteCarlo with Green gear. May be CQ6 code Valvebody.

so i found on cks site monte gear like said which is different gearing then stock had,both gears are different then what stock would use.And maybe it is a cq6 valve body from monte like you said which i wouls assume is different valve body and shift points maybe...

Where did you get the trans?What is the wot problem?

from ginorino on this site he traded a good 400 trans away that was one of dusty bradfords customers.Dusty's customer built the trans then sent it to you because he didn't have something right in it.So it was repaired by you (chris) i was told.Came with a trans brake piece also which is not in the car at this time,and probably never will be.I installed it now and at wot it will not shift i have run it to 6100 ,then 6300 still no shift.If you ease out of it shifts,if you drive it normal it shifts fine,if you light throttle it shifts fine.Wot sucks plan and simple.....

well after talking to David Husek a few times because he has been the only who seems to CARE in trying to help me fix this issue.I did exactly what he said and took that POS CK valvebody out of my trans ,and put the stock BR3 valvebody and stock seperator in my PROBLEM TRANS.And guess what WORKS BETTER THEN IT EVER DID.So thank you David Husek, if any of you guys want to get some advise that is worth more then talk ,call him he explained everything to me so i could understand it instead of trying to sell me CRAP i don't need.Then helped diagnois the problem with out jumping thru hoops,and doing a lil dance.....By the way Dave i will be sending you my other unit very soon
