Just got back from the auto show. I asked, why is the hottest new thing from buick, behind the glass divider? Wouldn't you want, what may save your job, out in the open, so that the potential new buyers can sit in it? She said that it would get tore up, and they didn't have replacement parts for it. Seems like a small price to pay to keep your job. It's a NIICE ride, but.... a 2 litre engine? On a 3900 pound car? Are you kidding me? OOOKAYY. Do what you will. 18 mpg? Seriously? Oldsmobile here we come.
My GRAND NATIONAL gets that, and will put a whoopin soo bad on that little regal, it won't know what hit it. The whole point in a new car, is to pursuade current car owners to switch over. I'm not getting it.
Now I'm not a jap car lover. Never have been, never will be, but the new subaru legacy WHOOPS the new regal hands down. For twenty grand, I get real awd, paddle shifters, and got something like 21/28 mpg, or something like that. cheaper, better fuel efficiency, and automatic transmission. It was a better value overall in my opinion. :(

I asked her why they switched over from the 3800, to the 3.6 and she said emissions. it's a cleaner burning engine... ugh... Ahh well. It was a nice run. Had to close out sometime I guess.

That 3.6 is no slouch! Its a high pressure direct port injected gas motor with high compression, no turbo, but the caddy makes 305 horsepower, and so does the new camaro.

Turbo6Smackdown- If you visit a old folks community look for the buicks, old people love em! I think this new blown 2.0 would be neat, it has a 6 speed manual transmission,... i dont think granny is going to like it!

I really like those 4 door suby limiteds with the turbo motor, is that the legacy?

Very nice cars..

Oh, the taurus sho is 40 grand

2011 FORD TAURUS SHO PRICES

* Ford won’t announce 2011 Taurus SHO prices until shortly before the car goes on sale in 2010. But don’t expect a big jump over the 2010 model’s $37,995 starting price. That represented roughly a $4,000 premium over the next-closest model in the 2010 Taurus lineup, the Limited with AWD. (These prices include Ford’s mandated destination fee, which was $825 for 2010.)

I hear ya Bryan but for $10k more, you get a HELL of a lot more car with the Taurus.

I agree, but who cares, both are overpriced and under powered!

That taurus's price tag is up there, might as well start looking at mercedes's and BMW's

Or a G8  I forget what those G8's sold for, great looking car from the front and back.

Or get your money's worth and buy a really really really really nice built GN!

Thanks for the pictures, I am wondering if I can pick one up in a year or two.
Audi luxury, modern Convinces, AWD, 300HP with just a tune, around 30mpg and it will be easy to get two little ones in and out...yes please!

Can't you guys wait a little bit before Buick rolls out BA version of this car?

When Buick released the Regal with a Turbo 3.8litre engine in 1978, it wasn't the fastest thing on the block. Over the years Buick refined the car and add more power and overall performance.

Give Buick some time, wait for the flop before you place your bets.

X2!... I don't like that Regal...It' UGLY. It reminds me of an Acura ...or a Mazda 6...

Claude.

that dont look good at all! if they want to do it right make it a 2 door and do a retro that gives it the look of the 80's, and GIVE IT THE 3.8 TURBO!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks that new Regal looks sexy? I love the new LaCrosse too.
