I see all the chat about this cam, and it is generally the cam of choice. I also see people stating not to touch the stock cam as it is good for 12's or 13's and thats where i need clarification.

Does the 204/214 cam only help after 13's? or does the 204/214 cam also help from stock e.t's on up vs the stocker. In other words if i popped this came into a stock engine, would i get a quicker ET? 12/13 sec. ET are attainable with a stock came, but would a 204/214 cam make it easier relative to a stocker or not enough to warrant the swap?

The "smaller" cams seem to be the way to go for a street/strip car. Not many complain about the 200/200, 206/206, or 204/214, they all open up the top end a bit without sacrificing the bottom end. The more air you push into the engine, the bigger gain you will see. 12 second cars won't get a huge benefit, but high-mid 11's you'll start noticing a difference, especially with good ported heads and intake. I chose the 206/206 from Jack Cotton based on his suggestion and from others' reports, but a lot of good things are being said about the 204/214 as well.
 
Im dropping in a 200/200 cam this weekend, I tell you how much difference it makes

I am just trying to get a guage for how much these cams help over stock. I know stock cams are good for 12s/13s maybe, but will the 204/214 cam make the 12s/13s easier to get to? or will gains not be notice until after that point...

does anyone using the 204/214 cam have any E.T's or some other testimonials with regards to this cam?

I know it yeilds a great idle and tunability, but i am wondering if anyone has any solid gains(i.e. 13.5 with stock cam, 13.2 with 204/214)

Just wondering...
