Yes, I did put one of the 24k Gold TTA's I thought about keeping for myself(#14 out of the 66) on ebay (after unsuccessfully trying to contact the real owner of # 14 to see if he might want it)to try to find out just how much these rare cars would sell for on a huge auction site such as ebay...I've had quite a few people/members ask me that question & since there's no real way of knowing that answer until there's one to go by & since I have one of my own to test with, I'm or should I say "it" is gonna be the guinea pig & hopefully find that out...lol. I will say that it could very well sell for 500.00, so if someone wants to use the buy it now, by all means please feel free to do so....

I hope in doing this to be able to actually see some real world offers & by setting up the auction to be able to receive real offers & than be able to choose whether to accept them or not, is a cool idea.. Although this is a new release, I still had hopes that I would see some serious offers of 350.00 to 450.00 and sure enough that happened in an e-mail I received within 2 hours of listing it.. Also had another offer, which got rejected automatically, but it did make me laugh.....

Now if we could fast forward a year when there won't be many, if any, showing up for sale, than I think you might see one sell for 500.00+ easily. Being around Nascar stuff, I've see a chrome Jeff Gordon diecast bank in 1/24 scale & being 1 of 166 sell for 375.00 on the secondary market within a week after coming out in 1996 & now they're selling for for 1300.00 "if" you can find one!!! Being that this 24k TTA is 1 of just 66 made, only time will tell where it ends up being on the "most wanted TTA diecast ever list"....
Also wanted to add that I did offer & sell my "extra's" to Buick members first & I want to thank all those who bought them for being so great to deal with!!!!
Lastly, I'm a big Nascar fan (especially Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, the now the new kid Joey Logano, etc & thus have bought alot of Nascar stuff throughout the years to add to my collection. When I find something I would like add to my collection, I have to sell something out of that collection to fund it, so that's when I created my ebay account years ago and the vicious circle continues to this day.....buy, sell, buy, sell...lol. I'm not a buisness, just a private collector who enjoys buying/selling & even trading for Nascar stuff & some GN collectibles. I also love my GN & sometimes have to sell items just to help pay for parts to keep it running good.
Simo makes a legit point about keeping up with taxes on ebay sales, because yes, you do have to report any "profit" made on your sales....Fortunately, but unfortunately(or maybe the other way around) as with most of us just for fun sellers on ebay, I've come out ahead on some, but definetly lost more than I gave.....
Have a great night everyone, I'll update you on the "auction" soon.........personally I hope someone does buy it for 500.00 & I'm sure everyone who already has one(OR MORE) of these 24k Gold TTA's does too.................Ain't that right 6-b-kwik & 2TURBOT?...
