295/65r15?

Hard to answer, kinda one of those "depends" type things. Depends on how well centered the axle is, etc.
BUT.... a 65 profile tire in 295 size is going to be awfully tall. You sure you want one that tall?? Maybe a 295/60 or 50 would be better.
I had a 295/50/15 on my car for the last few weeks. It had about 3/8th of and inch clearance on the frame rails. The outer part of the tire hit the fender lip from time to time on bumps. I have air bags and 15 psi in each bag. As for the rim I believe it is a 10 inch wheel. I’ll have to check tonight the offsets and width.

Just installed 275/60-15's on 7" rims. That's about it if you want to avoid issues. Can post some pics if you like.

I have some 295/50-15's on 8" rims (79 trans am). I'm curious to see if they would bolt up to my Regal, but I doubt they would make it.

Running MT ET Street DR's 295/55-R15 (28" tall) on 9" rim.
Diameter - 27.9"
Section width - 12.0" on a 9.5" rim (about 11.5" on 9" rim, 10.8" on a 8 " rim)
Tread width - 10.8
Approved rims - 8-10.5

The P295/55R15 is a replacement for our 28.0/10.5-15 ET Drag and the 28X12.50-15LT ET Street. Race tires are designated by tread width, street tires use section width.
If you are running the 28X11.50-15LT ET Street (# 3754), and can't go any wider, you'll wnat to use the P275/60R15 ET Street Radial (#3754R)
Last pic is next to my 255/50-R16's on stock 8" rims.
