Man the whole reason I bought my Turbo Regal when I was 16. Now with the loose converters you got the power but loose the 2nd gear shift like someone hit you with a brick on the back of the head just driving around town. Is it possible to get that back with a build trans and loose converter? I know its a long shot thought I would ask.

Yes, you can make the 200-4r shift extremely hard. It is a matter of preference but as the converter gets looser you will loose that shift feel. It can be compensated up to a point. How loose of a converter are you looking to go?

my car came with a converter I think its a 9.5 vigalante not sure what the stall is but im sure its loose. I still have to put the motor in the car but sure would be nice driving around town with the 2nd gear chip for memory sake and bad ass sake :)

From what I have been reading it seems to do allot with putting an orifice (not sure what size is the best) in the oil feed to hole in the housing. This is the responses I am getting from various posts on this board. Hopefully someone who really knows can respond more accuratly.
