hey wrong form but anybody know where the crank sensor is on a gm 3.1 supose to be between block and trans on bottom any body know please help it dark out here

I believe it goes in from the back side of the motor(firewall side )
It can be a real bitch,and they break off in the block if you are not careful,After you take the 8mm bolt out, Work it real slow,a little at a time back and forth to get it out,or you will be taking the oil pan off the car.
