3-2 downshift flare?

I have a 2004r w/2800 stall, 406 SBC, 11.0 CR, 550HP, 3.73 gears. I have a flare on the 3-2 downshift. All other upshifts and downshifts are great. WHat would be causing this to happen?

Check the band clearance/servo adjustment first, then put a pressure gauge on it.

CK's recal kit may fix it...

Did it just start this?
If so what does the pan fluid look like?

what kind of servo is being used? I had one servo that seemed ok but must have been slightly binding and causing a similar 3-2 flare. I tried it in two different vehicles and it did the same in both.
